We like to think, that if we can’t make a difference, we can at least make an impact on a community by giving to a good cause. Friends of mine just found out their daughter, Amaya who is 4yrs old, has been diagnosed with NF1 which is a non curable tumor disease. No child should ever have to feel pain or go through any type of sickness.
The family and friends will be participating in the NF1 5K Walk on June 21, 2014 in Doylestown, Pennsylvania to raise awareness and research funds for the Children’s Tumor Foundation, an organizations whose mission is to end Neurofibromatosis (NF1). NF are tumors that grow throughout the body and can lead to blindness, bone abnormalities, cancer, deafness, disfigurement and learning disabilities.
Here at Paper Roo we have decided to give back through our design skills a create a tee shirt for the family and friends to wear during the 5K walk – A tee shirt just for Amaya – The A Team!
